Supporting Candlelighters

Founded in 1976 by families and medical staff, we are proud to support and promote Candlelighters Trust. Candlelighters work tirelessly to provide financial, emotional and practical support to children and families affected by childhood cancer across Yorkshire.

Each year we donate a targeted amount to Candlelighters and have worked hard to increase the level of donation year on year.
Proceeds go towards the funding of research, family holidays, grants and additional services within the hospital and vital support for families battling children’s cancer.

Reduce logistics and transport

Where possible, we encourage teams to reduce the need for transport through video conferencing and flexible working options.

Ethical disposal of goods

We comply and enforce all applicable environmental legislation, such as the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEE).

Ethical office refurb

Our office refurbishment was designed to converse all types of energy, and promote our employee's environmental awareness.

We are proud to be a part of Investors In People (Platinum Standard) – the highest level of accreditation held by only 0.05% of IIP-certified companies.

Measured across nine key indicators, such as: Leading and inspiring people, living in the organisation’s values and behaviours, empowering and involving people, managing performance and more.

Our survey results showed that we scored above every IIP industry average by at least 12%, and for one indicator scoring 20% above the average.

This supports our commitment to career progression and development and is a foundation for business success - supported by the talent, drive and ambition of our people.
